【摘要】:Thisautomatedlaboratorytestmethodcoversthequantitativedeterminationoftheignitioncharacteristicsofconventionaldieselfueloil,oil-sandsbasedfuels,blendsoffuelcontainingbiodieselmaterial,dieselfueloilscontainingcetanenumberimproveradditives,andisapplicabletoproductstypicalofASTMSpecificationD975gradesNo.1-Dand2-Dregularandlow-sulfurdieselfueloils,EuropeanstandardEN590,andCanadianstandardsCAN/CGSB-3.517and3.6-2000.Thetestmethodmayalsobeappliedtothequantitativedeterminationoftheignitioncharacteristicsofdieselfuelblendingcomponents.Thistestmethodmeasurestheignitiondelayandutilizesaconstantvolumecombustionchamberwithdirectfuelinjectionintoheated,compressedair.AnequationcorrelatesanignitiondelaydeterminationtocetanenumberbyTestMethodD613,resultinginaderivedcetanenumber(DCN).Thistestmethodcoverstheignitiondelayrangefrom3.3to6.4ms(61to34DCN).Thecombustionanalyzercanmeasureshorterandlongerignitiondelays,butprecisionmaybeaffected.FortheseshorterorlongerignitiondelaysthecorrelationequationforDCNisgiveninAppendixX2.ThereisnoinformationabouthowDCNsoutsidethe34to61rangecomparetoTestMethodD613cetanenumbers.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
