【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversperformancerequirementsforheadprotectionusedfortrainingandcompetitioninmartialartssuchaskarate,wushu,andtaekwondo,wherenormalcontactbetweenparticipantsmayberepeated,butislimitedtoalevelthatisnotintendedtoproduceinjury.Theseactivitiestypicallytakeplaceinindoororoutdoorenvironmentswherethetemperatureismoderate.Thisspecificationrecognizesthedesirabilityofalightweightandstreamlinedconstruction,andventilation;howeveritisaperformancespecification,andisnotintendedtorestrictdesign.1.2AlltestingandrequirementsofthisspecificationshallbeinaccordancewithTestMethodsF1446,exceptwherenotedinthisspecification.1.3Partialutilizationofthisstandardisprohibited.Anystatementofcompliancewiththisspecificationshallbeacertificationthattheproductmeetsalloftherequirementsofthespecificationinitsentirety.Aproductthatfailstomeetanyoneoftherequirementsofthisspecificationisconsideredtohavefailedthespecification,andshallnotbedistributedorsoldwithanyindicationthatitmeetspartsofthespecification.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
