【摘要】:Thetestsresultsrepresentafterflameandafterglowtimeinsecondsforamaterialofspecifiedshape,undertheconditionsofthistestmethod.Theeffectofmaterialthickness,coloradditives,andpossiblelossofvolatilecomponentsismeasurable.Theresults,whentabulated,arepotentiallyusefulasareferenceforcomparingtherelativeperformanceofmaterialsandasanaidinmaterialselection.Inthisprocedure,thespecimensaresubjectedtooneormorespecificsetsoflaboratorytestconditions.Differenttestconditionswilllikelyresultinchangesinthefire-test-responsecharacteristicsmeasured.Therefore,theresultsarevalidonlyforthefire-test-exposureconditionsdescribedinthistestmethod.1.1Thisfire-test-responsestandardcoversasmall-scalelaboratoryprocedurefordeterminingcomparativeburningcharacteristicsofsolid-plasticmaterial,usinga20-mm(50W)premixedflameappliedtothebaseofspecimensheldinaverticalposition.Note18212;Thistestmethodandthe20mm(50W)VerticalBurningTest(V-0,V-1,orV-2)ofANSI/UL94areequivalent.Note28212;ThistestmethodandTestMethodBofIEC60695x2013;11x2013;10areequivalent.IEC60695x2013;11x2013;10hasreplacedISO1210.Note38212;Foradditionalinformationonmaterialsthatburnuptotheholdingclampbythistestmethod,seeTestMethodD635.Fortestmethodsofflexibleplasticsintheformofthinsheetsandfilm,seeTestMethodD4804.Foradditionalinformationoncomparativeburningcharacteristicsandresistancetoburn-through,seeTestMethodD5048.1.2Thistestmethodwasdevelopedforpolymericmaterialsusedforpartsindevicesandappliances.Theresultsareintendedtoserveasapreliminaryindicationoftheiracceptabilitywithrespecttoflammabilityforaparticularapplication.Thefinalacceptanceofthematerialisdependentuponitsuseincompleteequipmentthatconformswiththestandardsapplicabletosuchequipment.1.3Theclassificationsystemdescribedintheappendixisintendedforqualityassuranceandthepreselectionofcomponentmaterialsforproducts.1.4Itispossiblethatthistestisapplicabletononmetallicmaterialsotherthanplastics.Suchapplicationisoutsidethescopeofthistechnicalcommittee.1.5Thistestmethoddoesnotcoverplasticswhenusedforbuildingconstruction,finishingorcontentssuchaswallandfloorcoverings,furnishings,decorativeobjectsetc.Inaddition,thefireresistance(intermsofanhourlyrating),flamespread,smokecharacterizationandheatreleaseratearenotevaluatedbythistest.Otherfiretestsexistandshallbeusedtoevaluatetheflammabilityofmaterialsintheseintendedenduseproductconfiguration.1.6ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.7Thisstandardisusedtomeasureanddescribetheresponseofmaterials,products,orassembliestoheatandflameundercontrolledconditions,butdoesnotbyitselfincorporateallfactorsrequiredforfirehazardorfireriskassessmentofthematerials,products,orassembliesunderactualfireconditions.MIL-P-27407A, MILITARY SPECIFICATION: PROPELLANT PRESSURIZING AGENT, HELIUM (28 NOV 1978) [S/S BY MIL-PRF-27407B]., This specification covers the requirements for two types of helium.
